Alright! If we're done with giant snowmen, the closing of the Ravelympics and any drama from our "head coach", can we please get back to me?? Shiny Space Person wants to hear more about my travels, isn't that right shiny space person? Yes, they have space people in Tacoma. I'm actually in Everett, Washington now, but I'm a few days behind on my updates. Shiny Space Person and I do want to congratulate all of Team Dizzy on your Ravelympic achievements! I hope you all had fun and I really wanted to throw together a big celebration event for today, but it's kind of hard when I'm on the other side of the country and the "head coach" is claiming all of the victory. Anyway, everyone on Team Dizzy will be getting a little something special in the not too distant shiny future... I'd also like to give a special thanks to our team captain, moderator and motivator Quinnspins, and team co-captains Kamcole, Hellskitsch and JodieGirl. Shiny Space Person says you all rock! Go Team Dizzy!!! Details:
Madelinetosh Tosh Sock Per the Madelinetosh website: Madelinetosh sock is a 100% superwash merino wool, available in luscious glazed solid colorways. With a generous 395 yards per skein, one skein is enough yardage to complete a woman's size large pair of socks. Each squishy soft skein is hand-dyed in small dye lots and machine washable.
All WE can say is: this is one of the most beautiful yarns we have ever seen here at The Dizzy Sheep. From the moment we cracked open the box, inhaled the sweet scent of the vinegar rinse and feasted our eyes on the exquisite Tosh Sock colors we have had to fight off the Dizzy Crew to make sure we'd have enough to offer to you. We have waited a long time to bring this yarn to you, and you won't want to miss out on this one! Check out the free patterns on the Madelinetosh website, for example, these prettty Zilboorg Socks by Amy Hendrix: OR tell your feet to take a hike, forget about socks and treat yourself to this gorgeous sweater done in 3 - 5 skeins of Tosh Sock called Ruby Red by Anna Mikuskova featured in the Fall 2009 Issue of Knitty: OR how about wrapping yourself in a beautiful shawl made from this exquisite yarn.
