Four Sisters and Their Magic Yarn Shop – Part 4

Welcome back! I hope you are enjoying my story of Four Sisters and Their Magic Yarn Shop.

Here’s the link to Part 3, Part 2 and Part 1.

As I recall, here's were I left off ...

The disheveled and out of breath UPS delivery man stumbled through the door and announced, “Your shipment of fabulous Berroco Borealis yarn has been stolen!”

“It was stolen by …

aliens!”

Everyone wondered aloud why non-resident aliens were stealing yarn.

“No – space aliens!” the delivery man exclaimed.

Now that made more sense.

Just then a somewhat frustrated alien came through the door and said “maH ghoS Daq roj! qatlh ta'ta' SoH mej? jIH QaH SoH vIH Dochmey.”

Sabrina recognized the strange language as a derivative of Klingon. Thank goodness Sabrina spoke the language.

She translated: “We come in peace! Why did you depart? I help you move things.”

Krista was a little skeptical; she had heard the peace part before, just before doves, tanks and people were vaporized.

However, the alien leader went on to explain that she was Princess Leona Organa - sister of that other princess - and saw the delivery man lifting all those heavy boxes of yarn and simply wanted to help carry them into the shop. [This is obviously a true story – see today’s fabulous Berroco Borealis yarn deal]

The alien princess continued with how she read the ad for the grand opening and decided to stop by and sign up for spinning lessons. It seems that on her home planet, Filage de la Laine, which strangely sounds very French, everyone spun wool. However, as a child her mother never taught her – Princess L. could never sit still long enough and her frustrated mother would always tell her to go out and play instead.

So Princess L. decided it was time to learn how to spin and she had heard that the shop had wonderful roving, wheels, and several great and wonderful instructors.

Krista took Princess L. and introduced her to Dominique, a resident artist with many talents and a wonderful spinning instructor. The two immediately hit it off and in no time at all Princess L. was spinning up a storm!

Everyone decided that Princess L. was alright even though she was a space alien without any UFO’s.

Taking a moment to survey their new shop, Krista, Larissa, Sabrina and Veronica were happy to see folks browsing the shelves, knitting, spinning, and overall having a wonderful experience!

Other than some minor glitches with computers, witches, aliens and such – these things are always expected - the opening day was going great.

Snap! …

Hmmm – did you hear a noise? I think I heard something. You know it is rather dark out here in the woods, even with this campfire. Perhaps I should investigate ….

What made the noise that Marshmallow heard?

You decide! Post a Comment to the Blaaag or use the Contact form - what do you think made the noise?

And the story will continue …

Actually it's Voldemort. He's evil and all pissy because he learned to knit as a child, but never, ever got his tension right.
