I’m all clean from yesterday’s s’mores. Sticky stuff is interesting to remove when you have fur, but I'm now ready to continue the story of Four Sisters and Their Magic Yarn Shop. Here are the links to Part 5, Part 4, Part 3, Part 2 and Part 1. As you recall the landlord had entered the shop, twisted his long mustache and yelled, … … “You MUST pay the rent!” To which Sabrina replied, “I CAN’T pay the rent!” “You MUST pay the rent!” “I CAN’T pay the rent!” “You MUST pay the rent!” Sabrina was thinking, “Where’s a hero when you need one? “ Then she exclaimed, “Wait – I DID pay the rent!” To which the landlord replied, “I know you did, but I grew this mustache and found that I had this uncontrollable urge to play an evil landlord like my brother Snidely. I really came to see your your shop and wish you all a great and grand opening!” The landlord also hoped that Veronica had gotten over the parking lot sealing incident - but that's another story! Krista told the landlord that he should shave off his very long mustache and let Dominique spin it up so that someone could knit him some socks. Everyone had a great laugh! Who had ever heard of Mustache Socks? And for men no less! It was afternoon and more customers came to the shop. Some were there to shop for yarns or fiber, some for help, some to knit or spin. There were refreshments to eat and coffee to drink while perusing all the patterns -- so many patterns, so little time. Everyone was impressed with the shop and even enjoyed the boxes scattered about containing treasures that had not been put on the shelves yet. Then not to let a dull moment occur for very long - surprisingly, but probably expected by now, the village alarm sounded! A village person dressed as a policeman stuck his head in the door and announced: “Head for cover - quickly!” Larissa stamped her foot and exclaimed in an exasperated voice, “What now!?” The four sisters went outside to find folks scurrying in a panic. A look to the north made it clear that a calamity was heading towards the shop! There it was, as big as life and twice as terrifying … - - - What was the terrible sight that the four sisters saw? You decide! Post a Comment to the Blaaag or use the Contact form - what do you think they saw:
