True Creations Drop Spindles

Dizzy is proud to bring you expertly hand crafted drop spindles in gorgeous exotic woods by the very talented Jim Echter in Penfield NY.  These beautiful drop spindles are a balance of the art of wood turning and proper engineering.  Each whorl includes four notches.  The 1/4 inch shafts allow for high spin rates.  The spindle length is customized to the whorl to minimize wobble.  Each hook is hand formed and tested to center the fiber on the spindle axis.  These spindles are well balanced and spin beautifully. 

Each True Creation Drop Spindle is a unique work of functional art and a joy to own and use.  They come in three sizes:

• Standard: 1.0oz to 1.6oz with a whorl diameter of 2.5-3.5" and a shaft length of 9-12"
• Mini: .5oz to .9oz with a whorl diameter of 1.5-3" and a shaft length of 8-10"
• Maxi: 1.7oz or greater with a whorl diameter of 2.5-3.75" and a shaft length of 9-12"
