Goodbye 2011…

Fred, where’s my party hat?
Fred, where’s my party hat?

Let’s end 2011 with a Classy dream for 2012!

Seriously – dream up something big, or nice, or nice and big for 2012!

If you don’t dream it – it won’t happen.

Whether you’re having a quiet evening knitting or kicking up your heels at a party (bring your knitting – you never know, right?) give a fond farewell to this year and embrace the new year.

Be safe!

See you next year!

Fred, where’s my party hat?

Resolutions

New Year’s Resolution #1: buy more RAVELRY Red…
New Year’s Resolution #1: buy more RAVELRY Red…

Well, it’s getting to be that time of year – time to make up my New Year’s Resolutions.

Let's see how did I do on my 2011 resolutions?

  • Be nice to Fred – I think so
  • Eat fewer clover cookies – well…
  • Dance in fields of clover – unfortunately not often enough
  • More awesome dizzy deals – you’ll have to answer that one

So, what do you think I should do differently next year?

Let me know what you would like to see new or better with the site.

Either email me at Dizzy@DizzySheep.com, Contact me, make a Blaaag entry or post on my Facebook page.

Thanks!

Thanks Bizzy!

Brrrr!!! Seems winter’s set in at Dizzy Central!!

Well it got cold today.

I guess winter's finally here!

But I’m fashionably warm thanks to Bizzy.

She knit me this wonderful scarf with today’s Rowan Kidsilk Haze Stripe.

One ball, one scarf – pattern included!

My Hero!

You must knit the socks!

Villain (with mustache): You must knit the socks!

Damsel in distress (with bow in her hair): But I can't knit the socks!

Hero (wearing bow tie): I'll knit the socks!

Damsel: My hero!

Villain: Curses! Foiled again!

Thanks Fred!

I'm Free! (or at least inexpensive!)

Wow! That was close!

Yesterday I decided to pose for the deal photo in a box – to observe Boxing Day.

However, packages don’t usually sit around very long at Dizzy Central. The always efficient Dizzy shipping crew had me all packaged up and ready to ship to parts unknown!

Thank you Fred for rescuing me!

Perhaps it might not have been so bad. Maybe I was destined for some nice warm, sunny place..

Come to think of it, an unexpected trip might have been fun, but some bubble wrap would have been nice!

Happy Boxing Day!

It’s me, Marshmallow – inside the box.
It’s me, Marshmallow – inside the box.

Dizzy is taking today off – it’s a Federal holiday. He says it’s in his contract.

I don’t personally believe it.

Wait a minute… how come I don’t have a contract?

I’m contacting my lawyer Vinny Gambini of the law firm Dewey, Cheatem & Howe this week!

Anyway, a Happy Boxing Day for those that celebrate this holiday.

Boxing Day, gift giving or the equivalent of the U.S. Black Friday? You decide: Wikipedia- Boxing Day .

Now how do I get out of this box?

Say… this looks like the insides of a Priority Mail Box O-BOX7!

I’m not packed to be shipped!!

Fred, get me out of here!

Happy Holidays!

Where you a good little knitter this year?

Did Santa Sheep visit you and leave you woolly presents?

If he just ate all your cookies - here's some Dream In Color Smooshy Cashmere just for you!

Twas the Night Before...

All wrapped up - we hope you enjoyed the 12 Dizzy Days!
All wrapped up - we hope you enjoyed the 12 Dizzy Days!

Twas the night before Christmas and placed in your living room,

A pile of cookies with milk left for you know whom...

The scene was picture perfect and ready for Saint Nick,

Until Santa Sheep arrived to play a wee trick.

For cookies are Santa Sheep's secret delight,

and it is well known they are left out on this night.

With great masterful stealth and tip toeing grace,

Santa Sheep moved quietly towards the cookies' resting place.

At least that is what Santa Sheep had envisioned and planned,

But we all know that this sheep is balance challenged.

So if later tonight you awake from a crash and a clank,

As your living room lamp falls against your fish tank,

It isn't Saint Nick, but a mischievous cookie crazed sheep,

Who loves entertaining you all when you should be asleep!

On the Twelfth Day of Christmas

If you're happy and you know it, sock your feet! Wait, wrong song...

On the twelfth day of Christmas Santa Sheep offered to me...

Something soft and smooshy,

A new dreamy yarn,

Stellar bits of shimmer,

A fine and bonnie tweed,

Sharp and pointy objects,

Something soft and fuzzy,

Many stunning colors,

Aaac-ceessss-o-RIES! (badum, bum, bum)

A wee bit of lace,

Soft single plies,

Some thing al-pac-a,

And a great yarn
